Kate Middleton has definitely had many maternity style successes and the Duchess of Cambridge has now brought back yet another global trend - the clutch bag.
Kate has previously brought back nude heels, sapphire engagement rings, wrap dresses, long-sleeve wedding dresses and fabulous hats back into Vogue and now her love of clutch bags has sparked yet another trend.
According to handbag designer Lulu Guinness, a lady who knows a thing or two about purses, Kate, 31, has started a brand new trend that's leaving women little room to store their belongings.
"If she's done anything for the handbag, it's the fact that she wears small clutch bags," Lulu told the Telegraph.
"Personally I am making my clutch bags smaller next season, so they're more delicate and ladylike, and that's to do with her, I think."
With some clutch bags proving a little impractical because of their size, the designer added, "She's very elegant, but she's also got people carrying the things she needs, and a big car waiting for her."

The news comes after Kate started yet another fashion frenzy, after she was snapped stepping out in a Topshop polka dot dress for her outing to Leavesden Studios last week.
The dress is just a mere £38 from the high street chain, just a fraction of the the cost of her £1000 Erdem frock that she wore earlier this week in Manchester.
Kate, was spotted at the London branch last month, and while the store wouldn't confirm what the mother-to-be had purchased, it seems to be all clear now. Now it has been reported that the Topshop dress has quickly become a sell out - although it's not made for maternity wear - despite Kate being six months into her pregnancy.
The brunette chose to wear the monochrome dotty frock with a black Ralph Lauren jacket for a visit to the Warner Bros film studios with her husband Prince William and his brother Prince Harry.
The mum-to-be has been known for her love of high street and mixing it up with some of the big labels, having been spotted wearing Zara, Reiss and also LK Bennett.
It's not the first time that Kate has helped boost Topshop sales, having been spotted in 2007 in a black and white tunic dress that quickly got snapped up by keen fashionistas wanting to follow in her footsteps.
Kate also chose a £46 Topshop shift dress with a white Peter Pan collar last month, when she attended the headquarters of Child Bereavement UK with her husband.
The Duchess, who is due to give birth in July, was spotted browsing the rails of one of the store's London branches at the beginning of March.
