Miley Cyrus may not have become the huge star she is today if JoJo had not turned down the chance to star as Hannah Montana.

The Disney teen queen has become a worldwide phenomenon since signing up to star in the hit show, but it could’ve been a completely different story had the number one choice JoJo decided to take up the alter-ego popstar role.

However, JoJo, real name Joanna Levesque, insists she has no regrets about not signing up for the TV hit.

She says: "They offered me the role but it's not really what I see for myself. No regrets."
