Jennifer Aniston Avoids Baby Talk With John Mayer

The actress reportedly fears her broodiness might scare off her new man...

Jennifer Aniston is reportedly toning down the broodiness so as not to “freak out” boyfriend John Mayer.

Although the actress is said to be eager to start a family, she is apparently trying to keep the baby talk to a minimum.

“Jen’s being very careful not to freak out John with too much talk about babies and marriage but the fact is, they’re planning a future together,” an insider tells Life & Style.

Another source tells the rag that John is keen for the couple to move in together.

It was recently reported that Jen was happy for ex-husband Brad Pitt following the birth of his twins with Angelina Jolie.

"She'd never want anyone to be unhappy with their kids," a friend said.

  • I see babies in Jen and John's future. They have a lot of people praying for them. Jen and John have a future that no one this time will take away from them nor will they get discouraged from critics. They are two very strong young people. Jen is a lady. She has no ill feelings for the other woman who took her husband away. She is a winner. Therefore, my prayers go to them so they can have a peaceful, blessed future with many beautiful children as she has no ill feelings for other's children.

  • So what if she doesn't want to have children? I'm very glad to see a celebrity (apart from the great Helen Mirren, who, unlike Ms Aniston, has never been bullied into 'baby talk') who can live a fulfilled life autonomously, who can have self-worth without relying on breeding for that. Such independence claimed by women (it is given to men without much ado) who do not want children threatens dominant culture still. All the more to admire Ms Aniston for her reluctance to conform.
