With a powerful cocktail of premium specifications and distinctly eye-catching prices, the new SEAT Ibiza is set to take the super-mini world by storm this summer.
Starting at £8995, the new Ibiza range is the perfect mix of style, technology and practicality and has already met with a warm welcome from the motoring media.
Much of the praise has be given to the levels of equipment that come as standard with even the entry level edition.
The S1.2 version comes equipped with speed-sensitive electrohydraulic power steering, electric front windows; driver, front passenger and head-thorax front side airbags, ABS braking, rolling code immobiliser, remote central locking and six-speaker FM/AM RDS radio with MP3-compatible CD player just for starters
Moving up the range the Ibiza SE has the added extras of electrically-adjustable and heated door mirrors; electric rear windows, cruise control and air conditioning while you can only while you can also increase the aesthetics even further with body-coloured door mirrors and handles.
At the top of the range, the Sports version of the Ibiza includes a weighty package of add-ons including sports suspension, sports seats, arch-filling 16-inch alloy wheels and leather-clad steering wheel and gear knob.
Speaking about the new Ibiza range SEAT UK Head of Marketing, Steve Robertson, said: “We’ve looked long and hard at the supermini sector before making these important decisions about our new car and I’m convinced the pricing and specification options we’re revealing today – allied to our moves to make the range easier to understand – put the new Ibiza in a particularly strong position.
“Add the obvious style that springs from a shape created by ex-Lamborghini designer Luc Donckerwolke, plus a relentless push for top notch quality from SEAT President Erich Schmitt, and the appeal of the new car really could not be clearer.”
