The former Spice Girl will unveil her line of over-priced dresses at the forthcoming New York Fashion Week in September.
She reveals, "It will be something completely different from what I've ever done. I'm just putting it together at the moment, but they will be very upscale dresses and likely will start at around $1,200 retail.
"I'm going to be using very expensive fabrics and finishes, lots of embroideries."
Beckham cut her teeth in the world of design with a range of denim for fashion label Rock and Republic.
