Kim Kardashian Kids Around About Burma - VIDEO

Check out the reality star's public service announcement...

Friday 09th May 2008

Kim Kardashian has seen fit to raise awareness of the humanitarian tragedy in cyclone-ravaged Burma with a jaw-droppingly inappropriate comedy skit posted on her official website.

In what she refers to as a “public service announcement,” Kim, along with sisters Kourtney and Khloe, attempts to educate viewers about the tragedy – whilst trying on clothes and checking out her butt in a mirror.

The reality TV/sex tape star introduces the train wreck footage on her blog with, “I just wanted to share with you how I feel about the tragic cyclone that recently hit Burma.

The death toll may wind up being something astronomical like 100,000 people (I read this on CNN.com). And the country's government just started accepting aid from other countries (finally!)”

The 'PSA' itself shows the sisters supposedly getting ready for a benefit to highlight the country’s current political plight.

It begins:

Kim: “What’s this benefit for again? Burping?”
Kourtney: “No, not burping, BURMA.”
Kim: “I was kidding”

And it gets worse.

Check out what is possibly the most excruciating 1.22 minutes ever committed to film below – it really has to be seen to be believed.

Poll  What do you think of Kim's PSA?

Wrong on so many levels

Give her a break - it's for a good cause!

  • The video seems no more nor less offensive than the others in the series. All of the celebrities espousing their heartfelt concern for Burma miss the mark. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCdLP1kN0Ac The problem of Tibet is the same as the problem of Burma. Let's hope the response to the storm surge tragedy brings Myanmar/Burma outside of the orbit of China, and back into more contact with the rest of the world. And Kim, thank you for being the most transparent of all the celebrities so far.
