Jennifer Love-Hewitt: 'I'm Not Fat'

Jennifer Love-Hewitt ain't eatin' for a party of five.

The shapely actress has hit back at reports which claim she has gained an uncomfortable amount of weight, saying that "a size 2 is not fat!”

Last week unflattering photos of the 28-year-old swimming during her Hawaiian getaway with fiancé, Scottish actor Ross McCall hit the internet and resulted in several media outlets labelling the actress "overweight".

But the Ghost Whisperer star has since hit back, taking to the internet to voice her concern surrounding the press’ obsession with weight.

"Like all women out there should, I love my body," Hewitt wrote on her blog "I know what I look like, and so do my friends and family."

"I've sat by in silence for a long time now about the way women's bodies are constantly scrutinized. To set the record straight, I'm not upset for me, but for all of the girls out there that are struggling with their body image."

She adds, "A size 2 is not fat! Nor will it ever be. And being a size 0 doesn't make you beautiful. … To all girls with butts, boobs, hips and a waist, put on a bikini – put it on and stay strong."
